So Many Questions

It is only natural to have multiple questions race through your head, hopefully we can answer a few.

Are inpatients allowed to leave?

No. As part of the program, members must adhere to the program structure. Should an individual choose to leave, their custom rehab program will be temporarily suspended and their room will be given away. Re-entry must be scheduled with a counsellor and will be based on availability.

Are payments refundable?

Payments made to Serenity are non-fundable. However, all deposits are non-expiring and you are guaranteed a spot on our waitlist until you decide when entering treatment is best for you. Should a member leave treatment, the remaining days in their program will be credited and accessible based on availability.

What do I bring?

Clothes, enough for a one-month stay. Indoor and outdoor shoes. Heavy and light jacket, based on the season. Comfortable attire and active wear. Personal bedding optional. Memorabilia such as photos and limited accessories (e.g. watch, jewelry). Smartphones are not permitted.

Is family contact allowed?

Contact between patients and family members are allowed during designated times. Family check-ins are provided from our counsellors should the member agree prior to entry.

What payment plans do you offer?

Our pricing model is in place in order for us to serve as many members as possible and ensure quality care for current residents.

A $1200 deposit is required to reserve a room, which will go towards the program fee. The entire fee will be charged upon admittance into the residential program.

Financing and payment plans are generally offered and payment structure will be determined on a case by case basis. Depending on the plan, a small fee is typically charged for payments that are not paid in full by the day of admission.

What is included in membership?

Membership is all-inclusive (See Our Services). Residential services and individual resources are provided as necessary as well as the familial support programs. Most importantly, membership is life-long and you become a permanent member of the Serenity family, while having guaranteed long-term care and support for all Serenity members.

Who do we treat?

Anyone and everyone! We do not discriminate and will make arrangements within our facility to best suit the patients' needs and comfort. Our specialties include alcohol, narcotics, amphetamine and prescription drug dependency while simultaneously treating confounding conditions including but not limited to behavioural and mental health disorders.

Do you accommodate work-related needs?

Yes. We understand that most people are unable to take off extended periods of time off work at any given time, with or without notice. That is why our facility provides high-speed internet to serve your work needs. We provide some technology for our members as necessary, however should you or your loved one require daily access to a computer or other device for reasons related to their business or employment, usage of these devices will be permitted. This will be on a case by case basis and planned accordingly with the counsellor.
